Stopped in for early dinner as our first time. Patio seating was really nice and the service was great, though admittedly the dinner crowd hadn't shown up yet. Everything was fresh, flavorful and cooked exactly to order. The ribeye was a really good cut, marbled with fat.

Great spot, accessible to all folks since they have an elevator to get inside. Started with French onion soup, which was the BEST I've ever eaten. My ribeye steak was SUPERB, cooked perfectly! The NE warm lobster roll was amazing also. Glass of Malbec suggested by Tonya rounded it out. It was my birthday and it was WELL spent! WELL worth time and money spent. Happy birthday to me!

Always enjoy every experience we have at Founders house! We started with the escargot which was juicy and tender and filled with flavor! I got the lobster roll and upgraded to the truffle parm fries while my husband got the stuffed shrimp! Both dishes were very good!

The owners own three restaurants but I believe this one in Milford is the best one, ,the french onion soup was tremendous ... ny strip excellent, the only disappointment was they had a Valentine's menu only a week before Valentine's Day other than that the food is tremendous and the manager walks around like an NFL football coach watching everything. Would recommend to anyone

10's across the board. The food was absolutely to die for. Came in from albany to visit family and we were all first timers here and my goodness it did not disappoint. It's pricier but so worth the price. Desserts are amazing too try the strawberry tres Leche! We will be back!

My god. Went here on a whim for lunch today. Great patio with a roof, so the sun doesn’t destroy one’s bald head. The avocado rolls are a delicious, fun take on sushi (without the raw fish). The Bloomin’ Bibb salad was yummy, as the candied bacon made it extra sweet. Finally, the open face prime rib was bomb, with the truffle parm fries as the perfect accompaniment. Highly recommended.

My husband took me here for our first wedding anniversary, and we had a lovely experience. For appetizers we got the think cut candied bacon chop, the roasted blue point oysters trio, and the creamy seafood bisque. All of these were delicious, especially the bacon chop: easily the best I've ever had, delicious candied glaze. For entrees, I got the Berkshire pork chop, which also had an absolutely delectable glaze and was so juicy. My husband got the pan-seated scallops, and he loved them. Finally, we got the carrot cake for two, but it should have been called the carrot cake for four since it was huge! Very yummy frosting. The restaurant was very clean with friendly staff. The price was expensive but we knew that coming in, and the food definitely justifies the price. The literal only complaint I have is that even though we had a reservation, it took a while for anyone to come and take our drink order and get us started. Nevertheless, we had a fantastic anniversary here and definitely want to come back to try other items on the menu. I highly recommend this spot for a special occasion!
